International BIM Manager - digital construction management in a multinational environment

The program is addressed to people with professional experience as designers, heads of design teams, CAD managers, or mid–level construction project managers, who want to acquire, or deepen and systematize, their knowledge and skills related to BIM methodology projects. It is also for candidates from the private and public real estate development sectors, for employees of property and infrastructure development and administration departments,

both private and from local and central government, who want to prepare for the process of project procurement, execution and supervision in the BIM methodology.

Participants will gain knowledge of:

• BIM technology and methodology, especially with regard to managing teams and organizing the work environment,
• the latest BIM standards and their place and role in modern construction processes,
• modern methods of construction process management based on BIM, Lean, and Agile methodologies,
• procedures for preparing and executing projects using BIM methodology,
• methods for supporting BIM implementation by employers, designers, and contractors,
• metrics for measuring the effectiveness of project implementation/results: KPI/OKR;
• actual stages of real property development processes, analyzed as case studies;
• new roles, functions and new work culture in BIM projects.

Participants will learn to:

• define an organization's BIM strategy, set implementation goals and manage change;
• prepare BIM standardization criteria for different types of organizations and for projects in all phases of facility life cycle;
• create basic BIM documents, including tender documents, compliant with the Public Pro-curement Law and other legal requirements;
• specify work execution requirements and methods based on BIM methodology;
• use software, in particular to:

- develop work strategy;

- coordinate and manage information processes,

- identify conflicts;

- analyze data;

- exchange data in open BIM standards, and non–graphical data (COBie data drops);

- use data to improve the efficiency of construction processes;

• Use soft skills in team building, team work organization and team management.

The variety of the workshops and interactive forms of class delivery contribute to the development of soft skills, while contact with recognized BIM specialists, people who have

practical experience and successes in implementing BIM in organizations of all types (employer, designers, contractors), presents an opportunity to gain unique experience and network professionally.
