We are No. 1 in 2024 among non-public universities.

Based on information from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, WSB Merito University in Toruń with its Faculty in Bydgoszcz became the most frequently chosen non-public university in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region in the admissions for the 2024/2025 academic year.


Almost 32,000 people chose to study first-cycle and long-cycle master’s programmes at all WSB Merito Universities, which made us the leader of the ranking among non-public universities.

The Student's Service Office is a place frequently visited by all students. You have certainly heard more than one legend about it. Do not worry, the staff of the Dean’s Office at WSB Merito University in Bydgoszcz will be happy to help you solve any issues related to your studies.

In the Student's Service Office you can:

  • update your student ID card,
  • obtain a certificate confirming your student status,
  • submit a scholarship application,
  • submit a request to the dean.

Studies, internships, traineeships and work – a natural sequence of steps whose integration is coordinated by the Career Office. We are here to make it easier for our students and graduates to enter the job market and to provide well-educated professionals to our cooperating business partners.

The Career Office:

  • will help you find your own career path through diagnostic tests, the development of an Individual Action Plan (IAP) and mock job interviews,

Our library is a treasure trove of knowledge, a place to deepen it and a huge database centre with online access. In addition to providing extensive collections of books (around 35,000 volumes), journals, essential textbooks and external databases, it also allows you to use its resources online, benefit from interlibrary loans, and offers a quiet space for both group and individual work. Reserve and borrow a book, or simply come and use it on site. In silence, of course!

The role of the Disability Support Officer is to look after the needs of students with special needs and disabilities. They represent their interests and strive to ensure conditions for their full participation in the recruitment process, education and research activities.

The form of support provided depends on the student’s needs and includes, among others:

  • providing consultations,
  • enabling the borrowing of necessary equipment,
  • ensuring that the university infrastructure is adapted,
  • assisting in obtaining a scholarship for people with disabilities,
  • supporting lecturers in working with people with special needs and disabilities.

The student council looks after students and represents their needs and expectations to the university authorities. Its representatives take part in meetings of the WSB Merito Senate and the Disciplinary, Appeals and Scholarship Committees.

 

It is responsible for organising competitions, interesting events and integration parties, so it is also an excellent place to develop creativity and organisational skills.

The AZS university club operating at WSB Merito offers a wide range of disciplines in which you can develop your skills. You can take part, among other things, in sports and recreational classes as part of on-site courses and in winter sports camps.
