In the information published by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education about the results of admissions for first-cycle and long-cycle master’s studies for the academic year 2024/2025, WSB Merito University in Wrocław once again received the title of the most frequently chosen non-public university in Lower Silesia. Our university was chosen by as many as 8,392 candidates.

At the university:

  • you will receive a free email account and access to Microsoft Office 365
  • you will attend lectures and classes in well-equipped rooms
  • you will use computer labs and specialist laboratories (e.g. cosmetology labs, a mock courtroom, the Lean Management Centre, and many others)
  • you will borrow books, magazines, and use the reading room
  • you will make copies of your notes at copy points
  • you will connect to the Wi-Fi network
  • you will find small shops, snack and coffee vending machines, and a bistro with hot meals
  • you will relax in student zones or in the green part of the campus
Our campus

The campus consists of 4 buildings located on Fabryczna Street:

  • Building A – 29–31 Fabryczna Street (including the Admissions Office, Library, and Auditorium)
  • Building B – 29–31 Fabryczna Street (including the MBA Zone)
  • Building C – 18 Fabryczna Street
  • Building G – 14G Fabryczna Street (including the Dean’s Offices and the Career Office)

How to get here?

Public transport (MPK) – plan your journey at wroclaw.jakdojade.pl. It is worth using the Wrocław URBANCARD city card (www.urbancard.pl). Destination stops:

  • Park Biznesu – stop on the TAT route,
  • Fabryczna – request stop; remember to signal the driver that you want to get off there.

If you plan to commute by train (PKP) – the two closest railway stations to the university are Wrocław Muchobór (about a 10-minute walk) and Wrocław Mikołajów (about a 20-minute walk).

We are here for you

The Student's Office is a place frequently visited by all students. You have certainly heard more than one legend about it. Do not worry, the staff of the Student’s Office at WSB Merito University in Wrocław will gladly help you solve any study-related issues.

 

At the Student's Office:

  • you will update your student ID card,
  • you will receive a certificate confirming your student status,
  • you will submit a scholarship application,
  • you will submit a request to the dean.

Studies, internships, traineeships, and work – a natural sequence of steps whose integration is supported by the Career Office. We are here to make it easier for our students and graduates to enter the job market and to provide well-educated professionals to our business partners.

The library is an open and welcoming place. It is the opposite of noisy corridors and crowded classrooms, and a great alternative for anyone looking for a quiet space to focus and study.

  • Here, students and staff will find a rich collection of more than 95,000 books, a range of journals, and access to several thousand e-books and online databases, including archives of tens of thousands of renowned academic journals from around the world. These resources will help you write your bachelor’s or master’s thesis, pass exams, and deepen your knowledge in your chosen field.
  • You can also read in a comfortable armchair, work on a project (alone or with a group), and use a computer, scanner, and printer.

Cooperation with foreign countries is an extremely important element of the strategy of WSB Merito University in Wrocław. Establishing international partnerships supports the development of the university’s modern educational offer and gives students the opportunity to test their abilities on the international stage. 

 

For many years, we have been actively participating in the Erasmus+ Program. Each year, more and more students go abroad to study, choosing from among over 100 partner universities. The offer of the Department of International Relations is addressed to students of first- and second-cycle studies as well as teaching and administrative staff.

We want our university to be friendly and welcoming to everyone. That’s why the Office for Persons with Disabilities (BON) operates at the university. This is where students who need support in solving problems related to their studies can turn for help.

 

The office staff monitor changes in laws concerning persons with disabilities and organize training on this topic for university employees.

Members of the Student Council of WSB Merito University in Wrocław – they act as the voice of students, looking after their needs and expectations.

 

They defend students’ rights, organize cultural events and student parties. The members respond to any irregularities and work to improve learning conditions. Council members take part in meetings of university committees such as the Academic Council, Scholarship Committee, Disciplinary Committee for Students, and the Disciplinary Committee for Academic Teachers.

 

Being part of the Student Council is not only about working for others but also an opportunity for personal and professional development. Members develop in many practical areas — management, organization, teamwork, and gain valuable experience through training and representing the university.

In accordance with the Ordinance of the Rector of WSB Merito University in Wrocław, the Rector has appointed Ms Inez Pomorska‑Jarząb to the position of Student Rights Ombudsperson.

 

The tasks of the ombudsperson include:

  • Acting to protect the rights of students of WSB Merito University in Wrocław.
  • Providing advice on regulations governing the course of studies as defined in the Higher Education Law, the study regulations, and the university statute.
  • Providing advice on regulations concerning the procedures for granting financial support at the university.
  • Submitting reports to the university authorities on problematic and conflict situations concerning students and doctoral candidates at the university.
  • Supporting students in unforeseen life situations.
