The SAP-PORT Research Club operating at WSB Merito University in Wrocław was established in May 2015 on the initiative of MSc Eng. Sebastian Sobczyk and MSc Eng. Paweł Woźniak (SAP consultants in logistics modules and lecturers in postgraduate SAP studies).

The SAP-PORT Research Club is a growing group that gains knowledge in operating various SAP modules, both in the area of logistics (MM, SD, PP, WM, QM, PM) and in finance and controlling (FI, CO), as well as ABAP/UI5 programming. The main goal of the club’s activity is to enable participants to move confidently in the SAP world.

The classes are divided into three types: themed meetings led by the club’s supervisors and invited experts; workshops/trainings conducted by consultants from external partner companies. The club’s partner companies are Hicron and SI Consulting, consulting firms with Wrocław roots and leading providers of SAP consulting services on the market. There are also plans to establish cooperation with further consulting companies. Students actively participate in academic conferences and events organized by SAP, and the supervisors and board are also planning study visits to companies across Europe that use SAP systems.

The SAP-PORT Research Club is unique because it brings together students from different fields of study, levels, and modes of education. This is possible thanks to the varied level of workshops and trainings organized by the club, as well as the diversity of their topics, which cover many different SAP system modules.
