TELC Polish language examinations
TELC examinations are an international system for assessing language proficiency in accordance with European standards (CEFR).
The TELC B2 certificate in Polish confirms language proficiency at the level required for university admission, in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 30 July 2025.
The TELC examination is held on-site at WSB Merito University.
What is the structure of the exam?
Written part
The written part assesses four key language skills:
• Listening comprehension – you listen to recordings and answer questions
• Reading comprehension – you work with a variety of texts
• Grammatical and lexical structures – your knowledge of vocabulary and grammar is assessed
• Writing – you write a short message
Oral part
The oral part consists of a paired conversation on everyday situations:
• Talking about experiences and expressing opinions
• Short presentation
• Discussion with another candidate
How long does the exam last?
Written part
• lasts 115 minutes,
• followed by a short break.
How long does the exam last?
Oral part
• candidates have 20 minutes to prepare before the exam,
• the exam is conducted in pairs,
• the entire part lasts approximately 16 minutes.
