We are No. 1 in 2024 among non-public universities.

According to information from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, WSB Merito University in Poznań, together with its branches in Chorzów and Szczecin, was the most frequently chosen non‑public university in western Poland in the admissions for the 2024/2025 academic year. A total of 15,960 people chose our full‑time and part‑time studies.

I chose English philology as my field of study at WSB Merito University. During my studies I had the opportunity to gain practical experience by taking part in classes in real simultaneous interpreting booths. There I could observe how interpreters work in rapidly changing situations, which made me realise how important quick thinking and stress‑management skills are. While still studying, I started working in the International Relations Office.

  • You will receive a free email account and access to Microsoft Office 365.
  • You will take part in lectures and classes in well-equipped rooms – each one has interactive monitors or multimedia projectors.
  • You will have classes in a modern hybrid room and in streaming rooms equipped with interactive screens, speakers, ceiling microphones, cameras, and induction loops for people with hearing impairments.
  • You will use computer labs and specialist laboratories, including an engineering lab and a computer graphics lab.
  • You will borrow books and journals and use the reading room.
  • You will connect to the Wi‑Fi network.
  • You will find vending machines with snacks and coffee, as well as a bistro serving hot meals.
  • You will relax in student zones.

The Dean’s Office is a place frequently visited by all students. You have certainly heard more than one legend about it. Do not worry, the staff of the Dean’s Office of WSB Merito University in Szczecin will gladly help you with any matters related to your studies.

 

In the Dean’s Office:

  • you can update your student ID,
  • you can obtain a certificate confirming your student status,
  • you can submit a scholarship application,
  • you can submit a request to the dean.

The studies, internships, traineeships and work – this natural sequence is coordinated by the Career Office. We are here to make it easier for our students and graduates to enter the job market and to provide well‑educated professionals to the business representatives who cooperate with us. 

Career Office: 

  • It will support you at every stage of your education and entry into the job market – from your CV to meetings with a career adviser.
  • It will help you find your own career path through diagnostic tests, the development of an Individual Action Plan (IAP) and mock job interviews.
  • It will provide a diverse and attractive range of internships, traineeships and job offers.

Our Library is a treasure trove of knowledge, a place to explore it in depth, and a vast database center with online access. In addition to providing extensive collections of books, journals, essential textbooks and external databases, it also allows you to use its resources online and through interlibrary loan. Reserve and borrow a book, or simply come and use it on site.

The International Cooperation Office is a unit that collaborates with universities from all over the world.

Through the Erasmus+ programme, under which 43 partnership agreements have been signed with universities across Europe and 9 with universities outside the European Union, we strive to ensure that students of our university can develop in an international environment in many areas.

The role of the Disability Officer is to take care of the needs of students with special needs and disabilities. They represent their interests and strive to ensure conditions for full participation in the admission process, education and scientific activities. 

The form of support provided depends on the student’s needs and includes, among others:

  • providing consultations,
  • enabling the borrowing of necessary equipment,
  • ensuring the university infrastructure is properly adapted,
  • helping to obtain a scholarship for people with disabilities.

The Student Government looks after students and represents their needs and expectations to the university authorities. Its representatives take part in meetings of the WSB Merito Senate and of the Disciplinary, Appeals and Scholarship Committees. 

It organises competitions, interesting events and integration parties, so it is also an excellent place to develop creativity and organisational skills.
