Rankings and accreditations

On 26 June, for the 25th time, the nationwide 2024 “Perspektywy” ranking of non‑public universities was published. It is one of the most extensive and transparent educational rankings in the world. In its assessment, the jury takes into account, among other things, criteria such as graduates’ success on the labour market, teaching potential, innovation and cooperation with business, the university’s prestige, research strength, and the internationalisation of studies.

WSB Merito University in Szczecin is the most frequently chosen by students in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship (according to the 2023 report of the Central Statistical Office (GUS) for paid higher education studies).

According to GUS data for 2023, 22% of students choosing paid studies in the region decided to study at our University, which puts us first in the region in terms of newly enrolled students.

Obtaining international accreditation confirms the quality of education and builds the university’s prestige both in Poland and abroad. It is an entry into a global network of business schools recognised internationally, as well as a commitment to continuously improving quality. For our students, accreditations mean a guarantee of a high level of teaching, additional opportunities for student exchange, and increased competitiveness on the labour market, both in Poland and abroad.

WSB Merito University in Szczecin holds the following accreditations and certifications:

• ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
• Certification: IPMA Poland student

ACCA – Association of Chartered Certified Accountants – is a prestigious qualification in the field of finance, accounting and management. Since 2021, the University in Szczecin has been offering a Finance and Accounting degree program with an accredited specialization “Corporate Finance and ACCA Taxes”. Graduates of this specialization are exempt from selected ACCA exams, which makes it easier to obtain the diploma. Holding an ACCA diploma increases opportunities for employment and promotion.

The Executive MBA and MBA programmes hold prestigious accreditation from the International Accreditation Council for Business Education.
