Outgoing students
Who can participate?
To qualify for Erasmus+, you must:
- be a student at WSB Merito University in Gdańsk (first/second-cycle or uniform master’s studies);
- have completed the first semester of bachelor’s studies;
- not go abroad in the final semester of any study cycle;
- have no outstanding fees;
- have passed all previous subjects;
- have at least B2 language level.
Which countries can you go to?
You can only go to countries participating in the Erasmus+ programme. The programme includes:
- EU member states,
- countries of the European Economic Area, i.e. Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, as well as Turkey, Switzerland and Croatia.

Application procedure for outgoing students
Completion of the application form
The form must be completed online. A link to the form will be available on the Extranet on the opening day of recruitment in a message sent to all students. This is the first and mandatory step of the recruitment process.
Language exam
This will take place approximately a week after the end of the first stage. The test will assess your English language skills at the required level. The exams will be available on two dates: one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Interview
Interviews with the Admissions Committee will take place approximately one week after the end of the second stage. The Committee will assess the candidate's motivation, preparation and expectations regarding the programme. Interviews will be conducted remotely only.
The decision on awarding the scholarship will be made by the University Committee for International Cooperation appointed by the Rector.

Support and integration for Erasmus+ students
International Relations Office
International students at WSB Merito University can access support and activities organized by the International Relations Office.
International Relations Office offers:
- Support for adapting to life in Poland
- Help with NFZ, residence permits, PESEL
- Guidance on official matters, doctors, URBAN CARD
- Events and integration for international students
- Inclusive community and personal support.

Adaptation Days
At the beginning of each semester, we organize Adaptation Days to help integrate incoming students and familiarize them with the University. During these days:
- We help you get to know the campus, class schedules, and where to find the Dean’s office.
- You’ll learn how our grading system works.
- We organize dinners, workshops, events, and trips so you can meet people and explore Poland.
It’s the perfect start to your semester – come join us and feel at home from day one!
The Buddy Programme
This programme supports international students, particularly Erasmus+ participants, in adjusting to both academic and cultural life.
Every new student is matched with a local Buddy who helps with finding accommodation, navigating legal residence procedures, understanding the university system, managing daily life, and integrating into the student community.
