We are WSB Merito Universities!
On April 3, 2023, as a result of achieving high evaluation scores for scientific activity, which we underwent in 2022 within the framework of the WSB-DSW Merito Scientific Federation, the WSB Universities in Gdańsk, Toruń, Poznań, and Wrocław became WSB Merito Universities.
In November 2023, WSB Merito University in Warsaw merged with WSB Merito University in Poznań and became the Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Warsaw of WSB Merito University in Poznań.
New name, new opportunities!
This is another step in our development, reflecting our broad educational and research profile. We focus on the practical nature of the knowledge and skills we provide, as well as on cooperation with our environment. Our students and their needs are our top priority.
Our university status means that we gained the right to confer the degrees of doctor and doctor habilitated in new academic disciplines. It enabled us to expand our offer with programmes that respond even better to labour market.
We have been with you for over 25 years!
Our history began in 1998, when the first courses in finance and banking took place. Since then, we have continuously developed and improved our educational offer.

Modern learning methods
- Program Councils work with each field of study, consisting of company representatives, allowing study programs to be continuously adapted to market needs.
- We conduct classes in modern laboratories using software such as SAP, AutoCAD, or MS Visual Studio.
- We prefer continuous examination sessions.
- Our students carry out group projects, business simulations, and activities developing social competences.
Barrier-free university
The university’s teaching and administrative facilities are adapted for people with disabilities: service area doors have automatic openers, Braille signage is placed outside rooms, there are passenger lifts, ramps, and foldable mobile access rails. Special sound systems for the hearing-impaired are installed in lecture halls.
Social responsibility of the university
Scientists from the university, in cooperation with researchers from other centers and as part of membership in the Federacja Naukowa WSB–DSW Merito, conduct research in social, humanities, and medical sciences. Results are published in national and international journals and used in projects for social and economic institutions. The research is interdisciplinary and comprehensive.
