In the 24th Perspektywy national ranking of non-public universities, UWSB Merito Gdańsk (with its Gdynia branch) was ranked number one in Tricity. The ranking considers job market success, teaching potential, innovation, business cooperation, prestige, research strength, and study internationalization.

According to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, for the 2024/2025 academic year, WSB Merito University in Gdańsk was the most frequently chosen non-public university in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, with 8,104 candidates this year.
