Support for students with disabilities
We want our university to be friendly and welcoming to everyone. That is why the Office for Persons with Disabilities operates at the university. This is where students who need support in solving study-related problems can turn.
The office staff monitor changes in legislation regarding persons with disabilities and organise training on this subject for university employees.
How we provide support?
- Preparing an individual study plan and adjusting conditions for class participation and course completion.
- Opportunity to receive financial support: a scholarship for students with disabilities.
- Purchase of services enabling full participation in classes.
- Access to university or personal assistive devices, such as magnifiers or voice recorders.
- Allocation of teaching assistants.
- Cooperation with institutions supporting people with disabilities.
Friendly campus
Our buildings are adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.
- On campus there are Braille signs, accessible toilets for people with disabilities and a lift.
- You can use specialised equipment such as laptops, tablets, voice recorders, e‑book readers, notebooks and an electronic magnifier.
- In the library and reading room you will find computer workstations for people with disabilities.
