On 3 April 2023, as a result of achieving high evaluation scores for research activities, which were assessed in 2022 within the WSB–DSW Merito Scientific Federation, the WSB Universities in Gdańsk, Toruń, Poznań and Wrocław became WSB Merito Universities.

At WSB Merito University in Łódź, I study national security because I have been interested in military history since childhood. What I appreciate most about my studies is the partnership-based attitude of the lecturers towards students. I feel that every student matters to them, and I value the way each lecturer shows us the practical dimension of every topic.
At the university:
- you will receive a free email account and access to Microsoft Office 365
- you will attend lectures and classes in well-equipped rooms
- you will use the computer labs
- you will borrow books and journals and use the reading room

We are here for you
The Student's Service Office is a place frequently visited by all students. You have certainly heard more than one legend about it. Do not worry, the staff of the Student's Service Office at WSB Merito University in Łódź will be happy to help you solve any issues related to your studies.
In the Student's Service Office you can:
- update your student ID card,
- obtain a certificate confirming your student status,
- submit a scholarship application,
- submit a request to the dean.
Studies, internships, traineeships and work – a natural sequence of steps whose integration is coordinated by the Career Office. We are here to make it easier for our students and graduates to enter the job market and to provide well‑educated professionals to our business partners.
The Career Office:
- will support you at every stage of your education and transition into the labour market – from your CV to mentoring sessions,
- will help you find your own career path through diagnostic tests, the development of an Individual Action Plan (IAP) and mock job interviews,
will provide a diverse and attractive range of internships, traineeships and job offers.
Our Library is a treasure trove of knowledge, a place to explore it and a huge hub of databases with online access. In addition to offering extensive collections of books, journals, essential textbooks and external databases, it also enables online access to its resources, interlibrary loans, and provides a quiet workspace for both group and individual study. Reserve and borrow a book or simply come and use it on site. In silence, of course!
Through the Erasmus+ programme, under which we have signed 27 partnership agreements with universities across Europe, we strive to ensure that our students can develop in an international environment in many areas.

The role of the Disability Support Officer is to look after the needs of students with special needs and disabilities. They represent their interests and strive to ensure conditions for their full participation in the recruitment process, education and research activities.
The form of support provided depends on the student’s needs and includes, among others:
- providing consultations,
- enabling the borrowing of necessary equipment,
- ensuring that the university infrastructure is adapted,
- assisting in obtaining a scholarship for people with disabilities,
supporting lecturers in working with people with special needs and disabilities.
The student council looks after students and represents their needs and expectations to the university authorities. Its representatives take part in meetings of the WSB Merito Senate and the Disciplinary, Appeals and Scholarship Committees. It is responsible for organising competitions, interesting events and integration parties, so it is also an excellent place to develop creativity and organisational skills.

A place for the creation and development of the latest forms of online learning. The Department for the Development of Distance Learning designs courses that help master new technologies and supports students and lecturers in carrying out the teaching process using the facilities offered by advanced IT solutions.
