Izabela Lewandowska

She has been affiliated with WSB Merito University since 2005 and has held the position of Vice-Chancellor since 2021.

She has been a long-time lecturer on postgraduate marketing programmes and is the creator of postgraduate studies in B2C and B2B marketing.

She has experience running effective marketing campaigns in the higher education sector.

She holds a master’s degree in management and marketing from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and is a graduate of the MBA programme at WSB Merito University in Łódź.
Senate
The Senate consists of 6 members. The Senate discusses and takes action in the areas of:
- university strategy,
- internal university regulations,
- organization of educational and research activities at the university,
- personnel matters,
- university finances,
- subsidiaries related to the university.
Academic council
Members of the Academic Council are representatives of academic staff and students appointed by the Senate. The main tasks of the Academic Council include:
- awarding the academic degree of doctor,
- giving opinions on documents important for the scientific development of the university, including, among others, regulations for doctoral and postdoctoral scholarships,
- giving opinions on appointments to key functions and positions.
Functioning of the university
Many people working across different departments and organizational structures are involved in the proper functioning of the university and the quality of education. Thanks to them, the university ranks highly in ratings and graduates possess the knowledge and experience to thrive in the job market.
Student Government
Student Government is a student-run organization. It represents students before university authorities, submits important projects, requests changes to student regulations, and above all, organizes interesting events, exhibitions, and meetings.
Participation in the student government is a great opportunity to gain teamwork experience, test mentoring and organizational skills while still studying.

His research and professional activities focus on family entrepreneurship, small and medium-sized enterprises, their strategies, as well as security and crisis management.

He runs a family business and is a member of the supervisory board of Powiatowe Centrum Zdrowia sp. z o.o. in Brzeziny.

Małgorzata Nowastowska

She is a recognised social sciences expert specialising in sociology, with a PhD based on the dissertation “Self-presentation and the construction of personal role models in the virtual world”.

She has experience overseeing and monitoring information and educational activities in both public and private institutions.

She co-created and implemented projects on social inclusion, image-building and employee potential development.

She completed her studies at the University of Łódź and numerous courses and trainings on individual functioning in the social world and human resource management.
