Important information to get you started

MeritoGo

Intuitive portal that provides constant contact with the university. You will find your class schedules, grades, news and information about payments there.

Login

  1. Go to the MeritoGo page
  2. Use the login sent to you by e‑mail after you started your studies.
  3. Enter the password you set during your first login.

Having problems?

Contact the Student Services Office (BOS).

For graduates: If you continue your education in a second‑cycle (Master’s) programme, your login and login method remain unchanged.


Microsoft 365

Every student receives a free A3 licence with the following apps: Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, SharePoint, Sway and Forms.

Login

  1. Go to the Office 365 portal.
  2. Click “Sign in”.
  3. Enter your login in the format:

[email protected]

(You can find your login in MeritoGo: My profile → My data → Login to the MS365 service).

  1. Sign in using your WSB Merito University MeritoGo credentials.

Note: You need your university MS365 account to sign in to all Office apps (including Teams) and the Office 365 portal.

Account activation: Accounts will be available from the second half of September.

Moodle

On the Moodle e‑learning platform you will find both materials required for your classes and additional resources to help you further develop your skills. As you have continuous access, it supports your learning and skills development wherever you are.

Login

Log in to MeritoGo and click “Moodle” in the top menu to be redirected to the platform. While logged into MeritoGo, you can also go to Moodle via this page.

Collecting your student ID card

Your student ID card will be available at the Student Services Office after 1 March. To collect it, you must pay a fee of 22 PLN to the account named “INNE”, available in MeritoGo under My profile – Payments and transfers; in the transfer title simply enter: student ID card fee.

Extending the student ID card for graduates

  • Details on extending the validity of your student ID card are available in the Student Services Office tab in MeritoGo.
  • Graduates of WSB Merito University in Gdańsk (first‑cycle studies) may extend the validity of their existing student ID card at the Student Services Office, avoiding the cost of issuing a new one. Graduates keep their original student number and individual bank account from their first‑cycle studies, to which the payment should be made.

mStudent ID – electronic student card

  • The electronic version of the student ID card is available in the mObywatel app.
  • Activation instructions can be found in MeritoGo under My profile → mLegitymacja (a physical student ID card is required).

Replace your traditional student ID card with an electronic one and keep it always at hand!

While studying with us, you can apply for:

Class timetable

The detailed class timetable will be available at the earliest one week before classes start in MeritoGo under TimetableMy timetable.

  • Full‑time students: classes start at the beginning of October.
  • Part‑time students: classes start in mid‑October.

If your timetable is not visible a few days before classes begin, please contact the Student Services Office.

Group allocation

Your timetable will show which group you are assigned to. In exceptional cases, it is possible to change groups – to do so, contact the Student Services Office by e‑mail.

The certificate is available after classes start, within 3 working days of submitting your request (a template is available in MeritoGo). You can collect it in person from the Dean’s Office or download an e‑certificate from MeritoGo under: My profile → E‑certificates.

First payment

Each student has an individual bank account number for tuition fee payments. Details and deadlines for your payments are available in the Extranet under: My profile → Payments and transfers. The first instalment and the student ID fee must be paid by 30 September; this deadline changes only for students admitted after 15 September.

Make two separate transfers: the tuition fee to the “tuition” account, and 22 PLN for the student ID card to the “other” account.


VAT invoice

VAT invoice request forms are available on our website and in the Extranet. You can also ask for a template by contacting the Dean’s Office or the Recruitment Office.

Our university is located in the Gdańsk‑Strzyża district. It is easy to reach us both by public transport and by car: tram lines 6, 9 and 12 stop at Zamenhofa or Wojska Polskiego, and the SKM stop is Gdańsk Zaspa.

Classes are held on campus at al. Grunwaldzka 238A, as well as in the neighbouring building of the State Schools of Construction and in the building of the Vocational Training Centre at ul. Miszewskiego 12/13.

THE PURPOSE AND THE LEGAL BASIS FOR DATA PROCESSING AS WELL AS THE RETENTION PERIODS
Marketing purposes
By your consent, your data will be processed for marketing purposes for five years counted from September 1 of the year following the date of your consent. Thanks to this consent, we will be able to send you information about our offer, the events organized by us and the campaigns that we have prepared for you.
The implementation of educational services and data storage after the completion of the service
In order to provide educational service during the course of your studies by taking necessary actions before the conclusion of the contract, as well as to guarantee storing the data after performing the service, your data will be processed on the basis of the contract or the Act of July 20, 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science, for the period of:
1) 50 years, under paragraph 15, item 4, of the Ordinance of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of September 27, 2018, regarding studies;
2) 50 years, if the documentation concerns the postgraduate and the MBA studies;
3) resulting from applicable legal provisions for other educational services (e.g. training);
4) 6 months from the end of the enrolment process if you do not take up studies with us.

WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR DATA?
As a university, on a daily basis we use the services of companies, thanks to which we provide you with the highest standard of service.
Your data may be forwarded to them for processing on our behalf. It happens most often in the case of cooperation with a specific service provider (e.g. a provider of data storage services, a provider of postal, courier, payment, legal, insurance, IT as well as audit services) or a subcontractor (e.g. marketing agency). We may also transfer your data to entities affiliated with us by shares or by a person. In this situation, the transfer of data does not entitle other entities to any processing, but only to use them for the purposes explicitly indicated by us. In no case does the transfer of data release us as the Administrator from the responsibility for their processing.

WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR DATA PROCESSING?
You have the right to:
1. request access to your data;
2. correct of your data;
3. request the obliteration of your data if:
- you will withdraw your consent to their processing;
- your data cease to be necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or otherwise processed;
- you object to the use of your data for marketing purposes;
- you object to the use of your data to adapt our services to your preferences;
- your personal details are processed unlawfully;
4. request the restrictions on the processing of your data;
5. object to their processing;
6. request the transfer of your data;
7. withdraw your consent for data processing at any time, as long as it is based on your consent. The withdrawal of your consent does not affect the processing of your data carried out by us before its withdrawal.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection when you feel that the processing of your data violates the provisions of applicable law.
The provision of personal data for marketing purposes is voluntary.
The provision of data for the purposes of providing educational services and archiving data after the service has been provided is required by law or is necessary for the conclusion of the contract. If you refuse to provide your data or provide incorrect data, we will not be able to provide the service for you.
