Chemistry, biochemistry and microbiology laboratory
The chemistry, biochemistry and microbiology laboratory consists of professional laboratory workstations equipped with the equipment necessary for every chemist, biochemist and microbiologist. In this laboratory, students expand their knowledge with practical aspects related to carrying out reactions.
Giant Lazer XR Lab
One of the most advanced virtual reality-based laboratories in Poland has been created at our university – the Giant Lazer XR Lab, which combines the latest achievements in virtual, augmented and mixed reality technologies. Read more >>
GlobalLogic IoT LAB
The Internet of Things laboratory was created in cooperation with GlobalLogic Poland, which is a member of the Business Council for the Computer Science program at our university. The laboratory was established in response to the changing job market. Read more >>
Creative Constructions Laboratory
The Creative Constructions Laboratory is a place where students learn real-life solutions used in companies, but based on Lego bricks. We teach through play and have fun while learning. It is the only laboratory of its kind in Poland. Read more >>
Cosmetology laboratories
In connection with the launch of the cosmetology program, 4 specialist cosmetology laboratories have been created at our university. All labs are located in the new wing of Building G.
Lab powered by Nokia
Opened in cooperation with Nokia in 2019, it is the first academic LTE and 5G technology laboratory in Lower Silesia, called “Lab powered by Nokia”. In the laboratory, solutions in the field of ICT based on LTE and 5G technology are developed and tested.
Neurolider Leadership Laboratory
The Neurolider Leadership Laboratory has been designed to enable the verification, acquisition, and reinforcement of leadership competences in a practical and experiential way. Its resources include licensed devices and training kits that support the process of developing leadership predispositions among students and participants of courses conducted at our university.
Lean Management Center
It is a center for the development of knowledge, skills, and practical competences in improving production and service processes. The purpose of the CLM’s establishment and operation is to develop the skills of the engineer of the future, who will be prepared to work in the era of Industry 4.0.
Interpreting rooms
We have two laboratories equipped with the equipment necessary for learning interpreting: booth, simultaneous, and conference interpreting. The booths are a key element of our university’s infrastructure in the education of future interpreters.
Cisco Network Laboratories
The Cisco Network Academy has been operating at our university since 2017. To support education in the field of computer networks, WSB Merito University has opened three modern laboratories equipped, among other things, with the latest series of Cisco routers and layer three network switches.
Stormshield Computer Laboratory
In October 2019, we opened the Stormshield Academy. This is the first project of its kind in Poland, under which the Stormshield brand, belonging to the Airbus Group, established cooperation with a higher education institution.
Crime Lab
Crime Lab, the internal security room. In this room, students practice, among other things, basic resuscitation procedures, instructions for notifying emergency services, and standards for helping victims in various dangerous situations. They also learn how to secure forensic traces and handle weapons used by uniformed services. The room’s equipment includes, among other things, a virtual shooting range, a forensic toolkit, defibrillators, and manikins.
OMiLAB Laboratory
The main goal of the laboratory is for students to acquire knowledge and competencies in the use of Design Thinking based on digital transformation. The equipment it presents offers many development opportunities, one of which is reflecting reality with the help of models.
Dietetics and Calorimetry Laboratory
At WSB Merito University in Wrocław, there is a specialized laboratory equipped with apparatus for body composition analysis and physical performance measurements. This is where we check how the body uses energy at rest and during exercise, and we also examine parameters such as oxygen uptake and the threshold of metabolic changes.
SAP Next-Gen Laboratory
Launched in March 2018, this is the first SAP Next-Gen laboratory in Poland. In this place, it is possible to educate SAP specialists who are constantly sought after on the labor market, and entrepreneurs can implement innovative, dedicated solutions for their resource management needs.
