IIDEMIC
The aim of “IIDEMIC” project is to empower Somali refugees in Kenya and Somalia through enhancing their soft skills competencies and improve their entrepreneurial innovation and ability to embrace technology, which are critical skills for the future, to enhance their employability and integration.
TEDIS
The aim of the project is to develop the competencies of staff working in the field of formal and non-formal education in the area of distance teaching using online tools, in particular academic teaching staff and secondary school teachers.

About the project
The aim of “IIDEMIC” project is to empower Somali refugees in Kenya and Somalia through enhancing their soft skills competencies and improve their entrepreneurial innovation and ability to embrace technology, which are critical skills for the future, to enhance their employability and integration.
Project beneficiaries
Project is addressed to in-service teachers and ongoing professional trainees in areas that cover the project issues and Somali (and other) refugees and migrants in Kenya and IDPs in Somalia, particularly on those with special needs or living with disability.
The beneficiaries of the project are also the Kenyan and Somali HEIs` teaching staff.
The project results will be: e-learning Moodle platform and 10 online courses in three language versions: in English, Swahili and Somali

TEDIS
Project title
Tools and techniques supporting teachers and lecturers in distance learning (EOG/21/K4/W/0067).
The aim of the project
The aim of the project is to develop competences in distance teaching with the use of online tools among staff working in the field of formal and non-formal education, in particular university and secondary school teachers.
Project duration:
1 March 2023 – 30 April 2024 – 14 months
