Erasmus +
WSB Merito University in Chorzów is actively engaged in the international market. The university holds an Erasmus+ Charter, awarded by the European Commission, which entitles it to take part in the Erasmus+ programme. As part of this programme, the university has signed partnership agreements with 50 universities across Europe. As a result, students of WSB Merito University can undertake studies abroad for 1 or 2 semesters as part of their undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
Study abroad
- As a student of our university, you can take part in the Erasmus+ programme.
- As part of the programme, you can study abroad for 1 or 2 semesters.
- You can choose from 52 partner universities.
- Your stay abroad may be partially funded.
Internships abroad
- The placement lasts for 3 months.
- Recruitment takes place once a year, in the winter semester.
- If you are accepted onto the international placement programme, you will receive a grant to offset the costs of your stay abroad.
- Thanks to the international placement, you will not only develop your professional skills, but also improve your foreign language.
Advance from Bachelor’s to Master’s in the USA with Franklin University
Exchange program between WSB Merito University and Franklin University allows students to complete a bachelor’s degree in Poland and then study in the USA to earn an American master’s in fields like Business Analytics, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or Information Technology. Participants gain international academic experience, structured support with admissions and the F-1 visa process.
How to start studying abroad?
Criteria to be met
To apply for a mobility within Erasmus+, you must:
- be a student of first‑cycle, second‑cycle (Bachelor’s, Engineering, Master’s) or long‑cycle Master’s studies,
- have completed the first year of first‑cycle (Bachelor’s) or long‑cycle Master’s studies,
- be a citizen of a country participating in Erasmus+ (or have refugee status or a permanent residence card in a participating country).
Recruitment process
- Verification of foreign language proficiency, in which classes abroad are conducted (both spoken and written).
- Motivational interview – conducted in Polish.
- Verification of the overall grade average for the entire course of study at our university (you must have an average above 3.5).
- Signing of the required documents (learning agreement and the contract concerning the trip and scholarship grant).
