We are WSB Merito Universities!
On 3 April 2023, as a result of achieving high scores in the evaluation of our research activities, which we underwent in 2022 as part of the WSB-DSW Merito Scientific Federation, WSB Universities in Gdańsk, Toruń, Poznań and Wrocław became WSB Merito Universities. In November 2023, WSB Merito University in Warsaw merged with WSB Merito University in Poznań and became the Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Warsaw of WSB Merito University in Poznań.
New name, new opportunities
This is another step in our development, reflecting our broad educational and research profile. We focus on the practicality of the knowledge and skills we teach and on collaboration with the community. Students and their needs are our top priority.
The university status has enabled us to obtain the right to confer doctoral and postdoctoral degrees in new scientific disciplines and to expand our offer with programs that better respond to labor market trends.
Results of opinion surveys among our students and graduates
- Brand Attributes Survey (BAM) is an annual satisfaction survey of students and graduates of WSB Merito Universities. We ask how they perceive the university, what they value most in their studies, and what can be improved.
- Thanks to BAM, we see the university through their eyes and develop it so that it is even more friendly, practical, and aligned with professional life.
- The survey also covers employers, who assess how well our graduates are prepared for work.
We have been with you for 28 years!
Our history began in 1998. That is when we held our first classes in Chorzów. Since then, we have grown and refined our offer. Today, we can proudly point to numerous awards.

- Program Advisory Boards consisting of company representatives work on degree programs, allowing us to continuously adjust curricula to meet market needs.
- We conduct classes in modern laboratories using software such as SAP, AutoCAD, and MS Visual Studio.
- Exam sessions are held on a continuous basis.
- Our students carry out group projects, business simulations, and initiatives that develop social competencies.
University without barriers
The university facilities are adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. The buildings include elevators, ramps, mobile access rails, and specially designed sanitary facilities, while Braille signs are placed near classrooms. The auditoriums feature a special sound system for people who are hard of hearing.
Social responsibility of the university
Scientists at our university, in collaboration with researchers from other centers and as members of the Research Federation, conduct research in the social sciences, humanities, and medical sciences. The results are published in national and international journals and used in projects for social and economic institutions. The research is interdisciplinary and comprehensive.
