Changing university – how to do it?
It is possible, both for first-cycle (bachelor’s) and second-cycle (master’s) studies. Remember that you can apply for admission to a higher semester if you have successfully completed at least the first semester of studies and hold student status.
If you have successfully completed at least the first semester of studies but do not hold student status (for example, you were removed from the student list), you can apply for resumption of studies. See below to find out how to do this.

Efficient and easy step-by-step transfer
Step 1
Submit your documents
- A grade card issued by your current university, containing the course name, grade, form of assessment, number of hours and ECTS credits, together with the signature of an authorized person.
- Consent from the Dean of your home university for transfer to WSB Merito University in Poznań.
- A certificate confirming student status (issued no more than one month earlier).
- An application for transfer addressed to the Dean of WSB Merito University in Poznań.
- Transfer applications are accepted until 10 September for the winter semester and until 31 January for the summer semester.

Step 2
Wait for the decision
The decision regarding the transfer is made by the Dean/Vice-Dean:
- They determine the semester/year of study to which the student may be transferred.
- They specify the courses that the student is required to make up and set the deadline for passing them.
Step 3
Look through the study offer and fill in the documents
- You will receive an individual offer to your email address.
- You may be asked to provide additional documents or complete any missing information.
- Payment of the fee in accordance with the price list.
Step 4
Acceptance
If your application is approved, the Admission Office will inform you of the University Authorities’ decision and outline the next steps in the procedure.
