DIGITEKA – Didactic Materials Centre
It is a collection of over 2,000 materials for students and lecturers (including case studies, films, and books) from various fields - philology, computer science, law, psychology, and management.

- Books are normally loaned for 4 weeks, but this period can be extended.
- The maximum number of items that can be borrowed at one time is 10.
- Some titles are available for on-site use only.

How to start using the library?
WSB Merito University students use the library resources free of charge.
To borrow materials, you must have a student ID or a free library card.
To register with the library, you need to complete the registration form available on-site at the library or online in the MeritoGO.

How can I borrow a book?
Step 1: Go to the Merito Library online catalog and log in using your library card number and password.
Step 2: Use the search bar to find the book you want to borrow.
Step 3: Check the availability. If the book is available, click “Borrow.” If it is unavailable, you can place a reservation.
Step 4: After ordering the book, you will receive a confirmation and can pick it up at the library or from the book locker.
Extension (renewal) of a loan
- you can extend the due date of a borrowed book yourself by logging in to your library account and selecting “Renewals”,
- or by contacting the Library: by phone, by e-mail, or in person,
- if a book you have borrowed is reserved by another user, further extension of its due date will not be possible.
Book reservation
Thanks to the online reservation system, you can track the availability of books and reserve copies that are currently unavailable (borrowed). When the book is returned, you will receive an email notification and can choose a convenient pickup location - in the Library or at the Book Locker. You can cancel your reservation at any time. If a book you have borrowed is reserved by another user, you will not be able to extend the return period further.
Book pickup and return
- You can return books during the Library's opening hours. You may do this in person or through someone returning them on your behalf.
- You can also return books outside the Library's opening hours by placing them in the drop box (next to the main entrance, by the reception desk).
- Books can also be returned by mail or courier. You can find the address in the Contact section. Remember to include the note “Library.”
How to use electronic resources?
Using the library’s electronic resources is simple and convenient. You can browse the online catalog by logging into your library account with your card number and password. The catalog allows you to search for books and journals, as well as order and reserve them.
Reading room
- The reading room is equipped with computer workstations with Internet access.
- You have free access to books and journals there. The book collection is arranged by subject.

We encourage you to use Digiteka, where you will find many useful resources for self-study, broadening your horizons, and comprehensive personal development.
Podcasts and short videos make even complex topics easy to understand and accessible.
It is a tool that lets you access materials at any time. You just need to log in using your MeritoGO credentials.

Books can be borrowed directly in the library or ordered online via the library catalogue. In the case of online orders, books are ready for collection within 48 hours.
The library is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., on Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and on weekends from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
You can borrow up to 10 books at a time, and the standard loan period is 4 weeks, with the option to extend it.
The return date can be extended by logging into your account in the library system (provided the book has not been reserved by another user) or by contacting the library by email or phone.
Yes, students have access to many electronic resources, such as e‑books, databases and academic journals.
Books can be returned in person at the library, dropped into the book return box, or sent to the library’s postal address.
