We are WSB Merito Universities!
On April 3, 2023, as a result of achieving high scores in the evaluation of research activities conducted in 2022 within the Research Federation WSB-DSW Merito, the WSB Universities in Gdańsk, Toruń, Poznań, and Wrocław became WSB Merito Universities.
In November 2023, WSB Merito University in Warsaw merged with WSB Merito University in Poznań, becoming the Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Warsaw of WSB Merito University in Poznań.
New name, new opportunities
This is another step in our development, reflecting our broad educational and research profile. We focus on the practicality of the knowledge and skills we teach and on collaboration with the community. Students and their needs are our top priority. The university status has enabled us to obtain the right to confer doctoral and postdoctoral degrees in new scientific disciplines and to expand our offer with programs that better respond to labor market trends.

Our story began in 2007. That was when we held our first classes in Opole. From that moment, we developed and refined our offer. Today, we can boast numerous successes.

The university facilities are adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. The buildings include elevators, ramps, mobile access rails, and specially designed sanitary facilities, while Braille signs are placed near classrooms. The auditoriums feature a special sound system for people who are hard of hearing.
Social responsibility of the university
Scientists at our university, in collaboration with researchers from other centers and as members of the Research Federation, conduct research in the social sciences, humanities, and medical sciences. The results are published in national and international journals and used in projects for social and economic institutions. The research is interdisciplinary and comprehensive.
