Małgorzata Jagusch

Professionally associated with WSB Merito University in Opole (formerly WSB University) for 18 years, she has built a long-standing academic career there.

dr Maciej Szczepanik

Teaching economics and microeconomics and conducting strategic business games, he focuses his research on economics and the factors influencing wage levels.

With over 20 years of academic and teaching experience at higher education institutions, he is the author or co-author of several publications in scientific journals in both Polish and English.

At WSB Merito University since 2006, he has secured EU funds, managed the Microbusiness programme, served as managing director, and currently acts as Vice-Chancellor.

Senate
The Senate consists of 8 members. It addresses and acts on matters related to:
- the university’s strategy and organization,
- internal regulations,
- the organization of teaching and research activities,
- personnel matters,
- the university’s financial management,
- entities dependent on the university.
Academic council
The Academic Council is composed of representatives of academic staff and students appointed by the Senate.
Its main tasks include:
- conferring the academic degree of doctor,
- giving opinions on key documents for the university’s scientific development, including regulations for doctoral and postdoctoral scholarships,
- giving opinions on appointments to key functions and positions.
Functioning of the university
Many people working across various departments and structures contribute to the university’s proper functioning and quality of education. Thanks to them, the university holds high rankings, and its graduates possess strong knowledge and experience, successfully entering the job market.
Student Government
The Student Government represents all students. It proposes projects important to them, requests changes to student regulations, and organizes various events. Participation offers a great opportunity to gain teamwork, leadership, and organizational experience during studies.

She is a strategic planning and marketing practitioner in the energy sector, where she developed and implemented the company’s strategy, marketing programme, promotional policy and visual identity.

She holds a PhD in economics and, as Vice-Dean, implements modern solutions to improve teaching quality, participating in expert teams and promoting simulations and business games in education.

dr Justyna Kuświk

She holds a PhD in psychology, completed courses in individual, couple and family psychotherapy, and has extensive experience as a psychotherapist, trainer and teacher.
