In 2014, our university obtained international accreditation from the IACBE (International Accreditation Council for Business Education), which confirms the high quality of education in our business programmes. During the accreditation process, our curricula, infrastructure, academic and professional activity of the teaching staff, as well as relations with the business sector and the internationalisation of studies were evaluated. As a result, we have gained international recognition.
What does obtaining accreditation mean for our students?
Thanks to IACBE accreditation, our students study in line with international standards, which increases their employment prospects, including abroad. Recognition by an international committee enhances the prestige of the degree, which is valued by employers. Students have access to modern tools and teaching methods. The accreditation covers the following programmes: Finance and Accounting, International Relations , Marketing and Sales, Management as well MBA and Executive MBA programmes.
For students, what is accreditation?
The accreditation awarded is above all a mark of the quality of education and a guarantee that our teaching meets international standards. It opens up opportunities to benefit from the experience of other universities, to go abroad for internships and placements, as well as to attend classes taught by lecturers from other institutions. For current and future business partners of WSB Merito University in Poznań, the accreditation is confirmation that we are an excellent university.
Accreditation process
The accredited elements included the degree programmes and the extent to which we ensure the maintenance of the declared quality of education through appropriate infrastructure, budgeting, and staffing resources. We have met the criteria set out in the so-called Principles, i.e.: assessment of learning outcomes, strategic planning, curricula, academic staff, their research and professional activity, institutional resources, external and internal relations, and internationalisation of education.
