Support for Internationals
International students at WSB Merito University can access support and activities organized by the International Relations Office. We help newcomers adapt to life in Poland, offering information, social support, and assistance with official matters. Our aim is to foster an inclusive international student community and ensure you enjoy your stay through events and integration opportunities.
We assist with:
- Applying for National Health Insurance (NFZ)
- Residence permits
- PESEL numbers (Polish registration number)
We also explain how to handle official matters, register with a doctor, get a city transport card (URBAN CARD), and make the most of your time in Poland. Visit our office for help and to connect with our team!
Adaptation Days
At the beginning of each semester, we organize Adaptation Days to help integrate incoming students and familiarize them with the University. During these days, we provide important information about our campus, including the locations of buildings, class schedules, and the location of the Dean’s office, among other essential details. Additionally, we explain how our grading system works. On some occasions, we also organize dinners, workshops, events, or even trips to allow students to explore more of Poland.
The Buddy Programme
This programme supports international students, particularly Erasmus+ participants, in adjusting to both academic and cultural life.
Every new student is matched with a local Buddy who helps with finding accommodation, navigating legal residence procedures, understanding the university system, managing daily life, and integrating into the student community.
